3. Plan distances, legs and targets

Price Distance is a change in quoted price, not cash profit or loss. Save profiles for the exact symbol and broker server. Lot size and contract calculations determine monetary risk.

Enter the intended price movement

Advanced Pips require an explicit symbol definition. Decimal places alone do not define a pip. Points retain their broker meaning. Always inspect the resulting prices.

US100 / US500: 300 full index points300
EURUSD: 1.10000 to 1.103000.003

Define the setup allocation

  • Choose leg count, risk-budget or fixed-lot sizing, optional leg growth and maximum targets. Allocations total 100% and round to whole legs; this is not necessarily the same percentage of volume or cash risk.
  • Two targets default to TP1 and TP2; alternatives can be selected. Worse entries map to nearer targets. A single source target can optionally be subdivided.
  • An explicit zone is distributed across valid tick prices. A single entry price can use configured below/above expansion; NOW is not expanded. No leg may be on or beyond the stop.

Missing stops and explicit order types

A fallback stop applies only when the source stop is genuinely absent. Empty, malformed or contradictory stop instructions require review. Explicit Buy Stop and Sell Stop instructions retain their trigger semantics. A better market quote can replace eligible planned entries without adding legs; it does not override a Stop trigger.
